The funniest youtube video I have seen is “14 Days of Homeschool.”

It features hilarious homeschooling moms singing questions that neighbors ask homeschoolers. It is sung to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas.”

The written word can not do justice to these entertaining moms on the video. I especially like the 13th day, when the homeschooler “thoughtfully replies” to her neighbor’s 12 days of questions. Then, on the 14th day, the neighbor sings new questions, asking how she can get started homeschooling.

It is well worth the five minutes of your time.  Other homeschooling videos on this same section are also funny, and I will post more in the future.

Since some of you don’t have video capability, I will write out the words to the song:

14 Days of Homeschooling, sung to the tune of “12 Days of Christmas”

“On the 12th day of homeschool, my neighbor said to me:”

12  “Can they go to college?

11 “I could never do that.”

10 “What about graduation?”
9 “They will miss the prom.”

8 “Why do you do this?”

7 “Look at what they are missing!”

6 “How long will you home school?”

5 “YOU ARE VERY VERY STRANGE.”

4 “What about PE?”

3 “Do you give them tests.”

2 “How do you socialize?”

1 “Can you home school legally?”

“On the 13th day of homeschool, I thoughtfully replied:”

12 “Yes they go to college.”

11 “Yes you can do this.”

10 “They have graduation.”

9 “We have spring formal.”

8 “We do this because we like it.”

7 “They’re missing nothing.”

6 “I’ll homeschool forever.”

5 “WE’RE JUST A LITTLE BIT STRANGE.”

4 “We give them PE.”

3 “And we give them tests.”

2 “They’re totally socialized.”

1 “And you can homeschool legally!”

"On the 14th day of homeschooling, my neighbor said to me:"

“How can I get started?”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Where can I buy curriculum?”

“When is the next conference?”

“WILL PEOPLE THINK I’M STRANGE?”

“I think we can do this

if you will help us.”

“Can we join PE?”

“AND WE’LL ALL HOMESCHOOL LEGALLY!”

Hurray to these and all homeschooling moms! And thank God for homeschooling freedoms in this country!
