ZIMCOSKY SUSAN MARIE ZIMCOSKY SUSAN ZIMCOSKY Of Troy, passed away, December 2, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sue is the cherished daughter of Edward and the late Ducky (Anne) Zimcosky. Loving sister of Melanie (Michael) Arrowood and Timothy (Linda) Zimcosky. Dedicated, fun-loving aunt to Paul and Erin Arrowood and Zachary and Andrew Zimcosky. Dear beloved best friend to Audie Sanders. Sue so enjoyed all of her travels and get-togethers with her good friends Mike and RuthAnn Carter. She cherished all the special times she spent with her family and friends. Sue touched so many lives with her humor and generosity. She retired from Ameritech/ AT&T in 2007 after 40 years of service. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, 2600 Harvard in Berkley, Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. To honor Sue's memory, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warriors' Project. ZIMMERMAN JOANNE CAROLYN ZIMMERMAN JOANNE ZIMMERMAN On Sunday, December 21, 2008 Joanne went home to be with her husband (William) who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son James (Norma) Zimmerman, a daughter Sharon, and grandchildren: William, Stephanie and Albert Stewart; Bonnie and Joanna Zimmerman, and Heidi (Lyle) Janey; a great-grandchild Sarah Janey; siblings: Keith (Elnora) Bovee, Robert (Fay) Bovee, and Joyce (Ron) Moore. She is also survived by a brother-in-law Robert (Betty) Zimmerman and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joanne worked for over twenty years managing Highland Hills Estates in Novi, MI. After retirement she was a volunteer at the Samaritan Counseling Center and was very active in her church. He was born June 28, 1921 in Detroit and was raised by his mother and step-father, Lydia Alma Neumann and Alfred Nels Christensen. Marv spent most of his life in Birmingham, working for the Detroit Public School System at Greenfield Park School as a Principal, before moving to Portage in 2000. Marv is survived by his companion, Jewel Wyman of FL; his son, Mark (Debra) Zulauf of Portage; three grandchildren, Eric, Kyle and Nicholas Zulauf; and a brother, Earl Zulauf of Portage.
