REID RICHARD B REID RICHARD REID of Stockbridge Age 58, passed away at his home on November 17, 2008. He was born the son of Richard M. and Arlene M. (Maas) Reid on January 11, 1950 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. On February 22, 1991 in Toledo, Ohio he married Deborah A. Reid, and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2007. Rick loved to listen to baseball games on the radio. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends. He also gave everyone nicknames and enjoyed going to the family cottage. He was also a leader on the Emergency Response Team at the Ford Motor Co. Rick is survived by his children, Richard B. (Felicia) Reid Jr. of Avon Lake, OH, Christopher Michael (Ashley) Reid of Westland, MI, Amy Denise (Todd) Caldwell of South Lyon, MI, Bobby J. Hubbard of Saline, MI, Breanna M. Reid and John M. Reid, both of Stockbridge. Also surviving is his sister, Denise A. Reid of AZ, along with his grandchildren, Christopher M. Reid Jr., Hailey L. Reid, Austin B. He was born September 1, 1914 in Great Falls, Montana, a son of Albert and Loretta (Brennan) Robin. On September 5, 1942, he was married to Stella Arnold in Detroit moving to Redford, MI in 1954, and she preceded him in death. William was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Robert's Bellarmine Men's Club. Prior to his retirement in 1984, he had been employed by Wayne Engineering for many years. Surviving William is his daughter, Laura (Bob) Matthews of Hartland; granddaughter, Sarah Matthews, also of Hartland; and sister, Loretta O'Leary of Livonia. ROUDI RALPH C ROUDI RALPH ROUDI Age 87, November 25, 2008 of Grosse Ile, formerly of Flat Rock. Beloved husband of Ann. Loving father of Dennis (Pam) Roudi. Also survived by his grandchildren Evan and Katie. His brother Donald (Corrine) Roudi and his niece Marcia Taub. Mr. Roudi was born in Connecticut and attended Ithaca College in New York receiving his degree in music. He received his Masters Degree in Administration from the University of Michigan. Ralph served his country during WWII in the 101st Airborne Division as a member of the Army Band. He was called to front line service during the Battle of The Bulge and was awarded the Bronze Star. After the war, he began his career as a teacher teaching music and band in Fowlerville, MI, later teaching music and band in Flat Rock, MI. After receiving his administration degree, he served as Superintendent of schools for the Carson School District, the Riverview School District as Assistant Superintendent, and Southgate schools as Assistant Superintendent. Mr. Roudi retired in 1981. He moved his family to Grosse Ile in 1969. He loved opera, classical music and his favorite instrument was the clarinet. He also loved boating, fishing, gardening and was the a terrific cook. Mr. Roudi will lie in state at the Trenton Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton, Friday 2:30-8 p.m. and at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton, Saturday 10:30 a.m. until Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. ROZMAN MATTHEW JOHN ROZMAN III MATTHEW ROZMAN III 61, November 17, 2008. Much beloved husband of 41 years to Connie (Shepherd). Proud and loving father of Matthew IV (Andrea), Jessica Hallenbeck (Jason) and Amanda and her fiance', Shawn Barnes. Proud and happy grandfather of Lily Youngdahl, Matthew V, and Samuel Hallenbeck. Survived by his sisters, Lucille, Marie, and Elizabeth, and brothers- and sisters-in-law who love him, and by his loving mother-in-law, Claudia Shepherd. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Mathew, Jr., and Anna (Trepczynski). Matt was a lifetime hockey goalie and active in many other sports, including football, baseball, golf, and horseback riding. He had a vast knowledge of sports and was an enthusiastic fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the University of Michigan football team. He loved being with his family and playing with grandchildren. He was a registered professional engineer with many friends in the engineering world, who also miss him. Matt's poor heart was too weak to continue on.
