HAMILTON GRACE M HAMILTON GRACE HAMILTON Age 90, of Romeo passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Grace was born June 10, 1918 in Detroit the daughter of Arpad and Matilda (Puskas) Barkovits. She married Lawrence J. Hamilton in Detroit on April 12, 1939 and he preceded her in death in March of 1996. Grace is survived by her children: Sandra Presser of Woodinville, WA. Gail Hamilton of Auburn Hills, MI and L. Joseph (Karen) Hamilton of Shelby Twp. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister Elvira Gaines of Holly. Grace was preceded by her daughter Diane Hamilton. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on December 1, 2008 at St. Clement Catholic Church at 10 a.m. and a funeral luncheon will immediately follow. HARRISON MARIE ROSE HARRISON MARIE HARRISON MARIE NARSISIAN Marie was born May 5, 1922. Although she was orphaned as a young girl, she was able to create a life filled with great love for all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward (Baydarian) Harrison, and they treasured the great love that they had for each other, and shared together during their 69 years of marriage. This beautiful couple had four sons—Ronald, Robert, Gilbert and Glenn. Marie is survived by her adoring sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Olan, and her cousins, Var Walsh and Thomas Narsisian. She was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Narsisian, and sister, Mary (Narsisian) Cook. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives were touched by her boundless love. HAYES SUSAN C HAYES SUSAN HAYES Forever in our Hearts. Age 70, went to be with her beloved husband, the late Donald Hayes, to join our Lord in Heaven November 15, 2008 peacefully in her home in the presence of her loving family and close friends. Susan was born Sue Catherine Hoy in 1938 in Union, KY. Beloved daughter of the late Hawkins and Magdeline Hoy. Susan is survived by her brother Bill Hoy (Ilene), and her sisters Ruth Horejsi (Robert), Mary Charbonneau (the late Jack), Pamela Rotondi (Tom), and Debra Hawes (the late Larry). She is joined in heaven with her dear brothers Sammy Hoy (living Pat), and Gooch Hoy (living Virginia). Susan was a kind and loving mother to her daughter Geria Cavalieri (Lincoln) and a loving grandmother and life coach motivator to her three grandchildren Kathryn Ducharme (Brandon), Lincoln and Alexander Cavalieri. Susan will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Hayes was also a kind and loving Stepmother and Grandmother to Lee McNew (Patrick) and their children Sara Razzaque and John McNew, and Linda Stumpf and her children Cheri Cohoon, Nicholas Stumpf, Colleen Wever. Susan was widowed also by her first husband Gerald Schardt. As a girl she held numerous jobs to help care for her family. Later in life she met Donald, her knight in shining armor, and lived happily in Lake Angelus, MI often entertaining family and friends, hosting various community events, parties, holidays, and creating beautiful garden landscapes. Later they moved to Homosassa, Fl where they lived a happy and productive retirement, gardening and creating a lovely dream home. After Donald's passing in 2002 Susan continued to live in Homosassa entertaining friends and family. She spent her days working part time as the lead sales associate for Evans Nursery with her dear friend Jim Evans. Susan will be greatly missed. What a wonderful life coach and motivator to all that knew her. A memorial will be held on Sunday June 7, 2009 at 2:00pm at the Clarkston United Methodist Church, 6600 Waldon Road, Clarkston, MI 48346. After his family Larry's great love was his job in the wine industry, where he gained expertise as a seller and connoisseur of wine first as an employee of J. HUNTER JAMES H HUNTER JAMES HUNTER a a resident of Clawson for nearly all of his life, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac. He was born January 14, 1928 in Detroit to the late James and Thelma Hunter. He was a graduate of Clawson High School, Class of 1945 and received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mathematics in 1950 and 1951respectively from the University of Michigan. From 1945 to 1947 he served in the U.S. Army. On August 25, 1951 he and Ruth M. Anderson were married in Trinity Lutheran Church in Clawson, MI. She predeceased him on April 17, 1998. James was employed for 26 years at Chrysler Corporation until he retired in 1980. From 1962 to 1977 he served on the Clawson School Board as Trustee, Treasurer and President. Surviving are his children, James H. (Margaret) of Troy, MI, Robert G. (Gretchen) of Eagle Point, Oregon, Kathryn (William) Walter of Kalamazoo, MI and David B. (Margaret) of Takoma Park, Maryland and his grandchildren, James and Leah Hunter, Katherine, William and Jessica Walter and Danielle and Edward Hunter. Also surviving are his brothers, Bristol of Clawson, MI, Thomas (Joanne) of Rochester, MI and William (Helen) of Eugene, Oregon. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 29, from 12-4 p.m. with a memorial service from 4-5 p.m. at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main, Clawson, MI.
