Louise will be missed by her numerous friends and family in Michigan and Florida. In life, Louise was an avid gardener and an active church member of Merriman Road Baptist Church, Garden City, Michigan and First Baptist Church in New Port Richey, Florida where she spent her winters. Her career as a secretary began at the YMCA in Detroit, Michigan and as the church secretary and bookkeeper for Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Lincoln Park, MI. EASON JAMES GEORGE EASON Born November 7, 1928 in Detroit, MI; passed away November 12, 2008 in McKinney, TX at his home, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Eason, of 57 years; daughter, Diane Snow of Dallas, TX; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Linda and Dennis Welcher, of Tulsa, OK; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Brian and Jan Eason, of Dallas, TX; Son and Daughter-in-Law, John and Amy Eason, of La Porte, IN; grandchildren, Stephanie Welcher, Drew Welcher, Kim Snow, Travis Snow, Sam Eason, Amy Eason, John Eason, Abigail Eason, Jake Eason, Mara Eason, and Zach Eason. Jim graduated from Denby High School in 1947 and received a BA in Accounting from the University of Detroit. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1953, and was scouted as a left handed pitcher by Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Giants organizations. Memorial services will be held at a later date. EATON JEFFERSON S EATON JEFFERSON S "JEFF" Age 93 of St. Clair Shores, passed away peacefully November 8, 2008. He was the dear father of David, Virginia, and Richard. Grandfather of six and great-grandfather of two. He is also survived by his companion of many years, Emma "Dolly" Otto. Jeff was born on September 20, 1915 near Calumet, MI to Frederick S. and Sarah (Nickel) Eaton. He proudly served as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He graduated from Hillsdale College and Wayne State University and worked for the New York Central Railroad and Ford Motor Company, living in Dearborn for many years. During his retirement he was a Gold Medalist in swimming in the senior olympics and played keyboard in a local band. Jeff had a great sense of humor and loved U of M Football. He retired from the Oakland County Central Garage in 1991 after 25 years of service.
