ALSPACH HAVER E ALSPACH HAVER E Age 95, of Dearborn, Michigan, peacefully passed away Friday, November 14, 2008. Beloved husband of Mary Jo; adored father of Mary Ann (Bob) Bury; loving grandfather of Meredith; dear brother of Jeanne Cornell and the late Maxine Veatch and Barbara Boyd; and survived by many nieces and nephews. Born August 1, 1913 in Marion, Ohio, he was the son of Dr. Otto and Katherine Alspach. He was a 1935 graduate of Ohio State University with a BA in Business Administration, and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from '42-'46. After 21 years with The Ford Motor Company, he retired as their General Auditor in 1969. From 1971-1980 he was the Business Manager for The Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Memorial Services will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, November 21st at The Chapel at Henry Ford Village, 15101 Ford Road, Dearborn, MI. ALVARADO, THOMAS ALVARADO 38; of La Grange, KY, formerly of Holly; died following an automobile accident November 28, 2008. Tommy was born in Flint, Michigan, March 29, 1970, the son of Tony (Lynn) Alvarado and Gloria (Ritchie) Villareal. He attended Electronics Tech. School in Phoenix, AZ and later served in both United States Navy and U.S. Army. Tommy was an exceptional guitar player and loved his music and family, fishing with his Dad meant alot to him and he especially loved his grandmothers cooking. Surviving are two children, Britney, Darion; sister, Cindy Alvarado; brothers, Vincent Alvarado, Ritchie Villareal, Jr.; mother, Gloria Villareal; father, Tony (Lynn) Alvarado; grandmother, Josie Alvarado; and special neice Jennifer alvarado and daughter Haleigh; and a host of close cousins, aunts and uncles. A Memorial celebrating Tommy's life will be announced at a later date.

APPLEBAUM BERNARD R APPLEBAUM BERNARD R "BERNIE" Age 77 of N. Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Livonia, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida on November 15, 2008. Beloved husband of Margie (Shewell) for 59 ½ years. Loving father of Alan (Judy), Andrea (Mark) Bennett, Roxanne (Dave) Brubaker and Renee (Joe) Bachelor. Proud and loving grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 15. Dear brother of Jeanne Pate and Herbert Applebaum. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of great friends. Bernie was born in Detroit on January 28, 1931. He served in the Marine Corps Reserves. He was a proud brother member of the Graphic Communications Union Local 13N for 42 years and retired from the Detroit Free Press (DNA) in February, 1993. He was a past Director of the Shrine Americans Unit and member of several Shrine clubs. Preceded in death by his beloved sons, Michael and Matthew Applebaum, beloved daughter, Michele (Applebaum) Lindsay, loving granddaughter Krista Bachelor, his parents, Theodore and Marion Applebaum, brother Albert Applebaum and sisters, Anna Ross, Dorothy White, Goldie Monroe and Pearl Warpup. A small memorial service will be held at the Hope Hospice House Chapel on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 11a.m. In late Spring 2009, a Masonic Service in his honor will be held at the Moslem Shrine Center in Southfield, Michigan.
