Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Esther Van Camp, brothers Maurice John and Leonard (Dean) Van Camp, sister Virginia (Verlee) Flood-Gingell and brother-in-laws Mike Flood, Sr., Lawrence Martin and Harold Gingell. Survived by dear loving sister Arlene Martin of Lapeer; and brother Duane (Nancy) of Florida; also many nieces and nephews; and his extended family, Linda, David, Chelsea and Christian of California. Howard was a graduate of Lake Orion High, class of 1956. A U.S. Army veteran, receiving an honorable discharge as grade E-5 (SGT.) serving with the U.S. Army Security Agency. A former member of the Gingellville Fire Department, Gingellville Community Center and Oakland County Sheriff's Department Special Deputy. Howard had worked 15 years for General Motors Truck & Coach, Pontiac as a Supervisor, central operations, beforemoving to California in 1972. He retired as a Supervisor, data processing, for the Ceridian Corporation, Los Angeles, CA. Cremation was entrusted to National Cremation Services, North Hollywood, CA.

VANDERBEKE LEONTINE EMILY VANDERBEKE LEONTINE VANDERBEKE LEONTINE EMILY BLOOME VANDERBEKE LEONTINE BLOOME VANDERBEKE TEENY VANDERBEKE (NEE BLOMME) Age 96, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009, at St. Monica's Senior Citizen Home, Racine, WI. Teeny was born July 15, 1912, in Detroit, Michigan to Ceasarine and Charles Blomme. She was the sister of the late Leo, Emma (Warnez), Odie, and Bill. She was married to the late Joseph Vanderbeke and shared her life with him for 62 years. They resided in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Slidell, Louisiana in 1962. Following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, her final three years were spent in Racine, Wisconsin. Teeny was an active member of the Ladies Altar Society both at Assumption Grotto in Detroit and Our Lady of Lourdes in Slidell. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her son Gerald and is survived by daughters Sister Lois Vanderbeke, Sharon (Jack) Paul, Doreen (Roberto) Arevalo, Margie (David) LaRose, and daughter-in-law, Claudia Vanderbeke. There are eight grandchildren; Julie Skelly, Patricia Anderson, Robert Arevalo, Nury Flynn, Pilar Arevalo, Emily LaRose-Mueller, Zoe LaRose, Miles LaRose; and seven great-grandchildren; Noah, Adam, Joshua, Madelyn Skelly; Jarred and Elijah Anderson; Grady Flynn. VINCENT, HARVEY N VINCENT JR HARRY VINCENT JR age 75; a life-long resident of Rochester; died January 12, 2009. He was born May 7, 1933, to the late Harvey N. and Mabel Vincent. He was the brother of the late Esther Nichols. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Monika; and his sons, Harvey Jeffrey (Carol) Vincent of Golden Bridges, NY, and Timothy Paul Vincent of Rochester Hills; grandfather of Harvey Michael and Ashley Vincent; brother-in-law of Andrew (Mary) Wesoly and Hansj rg (Elfriede) Schad; also surviving are his five aunts; his uncle; and three cousins. Harvey graduated from Rochester High School in 1951, Wayne State University, and obtained his PhD from Pacific Western University. He taught school at Hutchinson Elementary in Detroit and St. Fred's in Pontiac. He retired from James River Co. in 1995. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served as Staff Sargent in Korea and Japan. The Vincent family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Boulevard Health Center for Harvey's care, especially In-House Hospice for their TLC. At his request, private funeral services were held Friday, January 16, 2009, the Rev. Dan Hutchinson, officiating, followed by interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
