PARHAM LARRY ELLIOT PARHAM LARRY PARHAM age 58; of Macomb, Michigan. He was born February 15, 1950; died January 4, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. A devout Christian man, Larry accepted Chris in his life in 1975 and was added to the North Broadway Church of Christ under the leadership of Dr. James E. Thompson. At North Broadway congregation, Larry served as Assistant Bible School Teacher and the Radio Announcer for many years. Until his death, Larry was an active member of the Oakland Church of Christ, under the leadership of Minister Jimmy Hurd. Mr. Larry Parham was a former teacher of Mount Clemens High School, Assistant Principle at Jefferson Whittier Middle School, Pontiac, Michigan. Presently Assistant Principal Avondale High School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Mills-Payne in Turkey Knob, West Virginia. He attended Duboise High School in W. Virginia and was drafted into the army and served 4 years. He married his high school sweetheart Blandelia Cureton on May 11, 1949 and fathered nine children. He worked for Kelsey Hayes Foundry until he retired. He worked for Forest Lawn Cemetery as an Advance Planning Specialist/Family Service Counselor and was an Ordained Minister of Mount Sinai House of Prayer. Harry was a beautiful person who would lend his ear to those who needed someone to listen. He would minister to you in your time of need and pray with you or for you. He was blessed to have lived such a long life and be a blessing in other lives as well. Harry never judged those he came in contact with nor did he put you down. When you were around him you would have a feeling of security and peace. His laughter and his smile would lift you up if you were feeling down. He was a Man of God, who would go that extra mile to help you get where you need to be in the Lord. Harry you will be truly missed by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Robert L. The beloved daughter of the late Mervin and Irma Pushman. She is survived by a sister Violet Smith, brothers Lyle and Dale Pushman, an uncle Lloyd Danks, several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many close friends. She taught school, engaged in many community activities, directed drama productions and worked with many needy families. Reading, cross stitch and knitting were her major hobbies.
