JANSEN JOSEPH HERMAN JANSEN JOSEPH JANSEN Died Friday, January 23 2009, age 85, at his residence in Novi, Michigan. He was born April 3, 1923 in Port Huron to the late John and Emma (McEachin) Jansen. Joe graduated from St. Stephen High School, the University of Detroit and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. On October 6, 1951 he married Mary Jo Meyer. He worked as the accountant/ controller for Precision Hardware from 1951 to 1991. Joe is survived by his wife Mary Jo; five children, Terry Jansen, Joan (Richard) Dunn, Joseph (Beverly Schwagle) Jansen, Peter (Deborah Day) Jansen, Mary Ann (Metin) Dogu; a sister Barbara Fenner; eight grandchildren; Kyeshna (Chris Morehouse) Jansen, John (Rebecca) Jansen, Jennie Jansen, Alex Dogu, Mark (Su-Young) Schwagle, Matt (Heidi) Schwagle, James and Joseph Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Kailey Swiss and Travis Morehouse; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. JEFFREY JEAN ELEANOR JEFFREY JEAN JEFFREY Age 83. Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2009 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born Dec. 4, 1925 to Frederick J. and Helen (Morton) Newill. Jean married Peter Jeffrey of Detroit in 1947. In 1955 they moved to Redford Twp. and spent the next 20 years raising their 6 children. A devoted wife, mother and friend, Jean's strength and integrity were a source of inspiration to all. Through good health and bad, her sweet smile was ever present and will be dearly missed. In addition to her loving husband Peter, Jean is survived by her children Peter (Shirley) Jeffrey, Timothy (Beverly) Jeffrey, Joanne (Richard) Repicky, Maureen (Paul) Murad, John (Jan) Jeffrey, and Anne Maybury; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Johnson; beloved mother of Phillip (Barbara) of Rochester Hills, MI, David (Sue) of Holly, MI, and Imogene Double (Mark) of Jackson, MI; loving grandmother of Alison, Kelsey, William and Kathleen. During W.W.II, Martha joined the British air force and lived a very exciting life while being stationed in many countries around the world. While visiting some of her Scottish friends in Flint, MI, she met and married Philip Johnson. They moved to Detroit, MI, in 1954 and then to Royal Oak, MI, in 1957. She then moved to Mesa, AZ, in 1990. She loved gardening and being with her good friends playing cards, bowling, and golfing. Mary Ann leaves many friends from K-Mart where she worked for 40 years. She also leaves other friends & good neighbors and her adored young friend, Robert Harshberger.
