Bob sold the franchise to baseball legend Cal Ripken, Jr., retired from the Chamber and returned to Central FL. Bob and Pat have been married for 45 years. Nothing mattered more to Bob than family. He was a wonderful and father who showed all, through his love and kindness, how to be a decent human being. The lessons he taught his family will never be forgotten and his spirit will continue to live and thrive within each of them. He handled his affliction with ALS with a level of dignity and class that was inspiring to all who witnessed it. He never let the disease get the best of him. The family would like to extend its deepest appreciation to all the wonderful friends of Bob's who were so instrumental in helping him in his fight. Your kindness can never be repaid. To Bob. To Dad. To Papa. Thank you. Your memory lives on in each of us. We miss you, but we want you to have peace and happiness. We love you, now and forever.
