Clara is survived by her son Dr. Larry Aagesen; and a daughter Carole (Thomas) Cuthbertson; five grandchildren Jeffrey (Karen) Cuthbertson, Larry (Melissa) Aagesen, Matthew (Andrea) Aagesen, Lynn (Edward) Nowicki, and Leisa Klein; great grandchildren, Alex, Emily, and Nicholas; and a sister Marie (Claude) Kotila. ALLENDER SCOTT W ALLENDER SCOTT ALLENDER Formerly from Livonia. Passed away on June 5, 2008 at the age of 54. He was born on May 22, 1954 to Robert and Lucille Allender. He graduated from Franklin High School in Livonia and was employed by Quality Plus in Romulus. Scott was preceded death by his father, Robert Warren Allender, his mother, Lucille Margaret Allender (2004) of Livonia and his brother Robert Warren Allender (2006) of Idaho. He is survived by his sister Candy (Pete) Frusti of Livonia, his brother Tracy (Amy) Allender of Belleville and his sister Karen Hinderliter of Williamston along with 11 nieces and nephews, one great-nephew and one great-niece. ARCHAMBAULT MARILYN ARCHAMBAULT Born May 16, 1924 in Detroit to George and Carolyn Miehls. Although her body gave out she was still sharp as a tack when she died January 21, 2009 in Portland, Oregon. Attended St. Cecelia's and graduated class of 42. Received a BS degree from Uof M and a BA degree from U of D. Married Dr. Rene Archambault (d1987) in 1951 and moved to Wayne, Michigan where she lived until she moved to Marys Woods, Lake Oswego, OR. in 2003. She loved her swimming group in Wayne, her bridge group of high school and college friends. She attended St. Mary's Parish and was active in the Wayne Garden Club, Literary Club and Investment Club. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her children George (Bonnie Kobleck) of Lakewood, Colorado, Susan Cross (Colin d. 1999) of Post Falls, Idaho, Rene (Kathleen Theriault) of Allenpark, CO and Mary Ann (Jon Prettyman) of Portland, OR. ARNDT PAUL ARNDT SR July 11,1929 - January 20, 2009 Did not regain his strength after being rescued November 14, 2008. His illness did not cause death but released him to a life where the sun is not needed to light his days or the moon and stars to light his nights. His choice to accept salvation has meant the Lord will now be his everlasting light. Forever to be remembered as Dad, Pops, Grandpa, and Friend. ARNO RICHARD J ARNO RICHARD ARNO Age 80, of Lapeer, formerly of Royal Oak, died January 18, 2009. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years,Phyllis (Phipps) Arno, dear children, Barbara (Matt) Modrack of Brighton, Richard (Hiroko) Arno of Tokyo, adored grandchildren, Cobleigh and Josie Modrack, Alisa Arno and sister, Eleanor Arno of Shelby Twp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Arno, siblings, Patricia Payson Hunt, Douglas Arno and Robert D. Arno. In 1952, Mr. Arno founded Arno Paint & Wallpaper, Royal Oak, owning & operating for 40 years. He was very involved in the Royal Oak community; past president of the Royal Oak Optimist Club, serving in the Royal Oak Zoning Board of Appeals for 24 years - 15 years as Chairman. Richard was a 25 year member of the Stagecrafters Community Theatre as well as being very active in the Baldwin Theatre restoration. Mr. Arno proudly served his country in the U.S. Army During the Korean War. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Baldwin Theatre, 415 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak.
