She is pre-deceased by her brothers: Joseph, Sidney Jr., Jack, and Bill Gatenby. She married her late husband Raymond Stanley VanValkenburg on February 2, 1952 in Detroit. Ortonville; also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren
and one great great granddaughter. Mr. Vantine owned and operated Vantine
Farms. He was a member of the Ortonville Lions Club, Michigan Milk Producers
Association Oakland County Farm Bureau, Ortonville Masonic Lodge #339 F & AM
and Eastern Star where he was Past Worthy Patron. He was also a former
member of the Land Bank Board, Ortonville School Board and Ortonville
