THICK GREGORY G THICK GREGORY THICK age 38; of Pontiac, MI; died Saturday, February 21, after an arduous fight with diabetes. He was born on June 29, 1970, growing up in Clarkston, MI. He is survived by his mother, Sue; and sister, Tracy Basile. Greg was a courageous young man who loved his family. He had an affinity for dogs and had a real gift for teaching large dogs to be gentle. Spending most of his life battling his diabetes, Greg was able to leave us on his terms, passing peacefully surrounded by family. His spirit and soul lives on with his family, who are comforted by the peace and serenity our beloved Greg has found. TOMASIK ALBERT TOMASIK Age 90, of Mesa, passed away February 7, 2009. He was born March 24, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan. During World War II, he served in Patton's Third Army from 1942-1945. After 30 years of service with the U. S. Postal Service, Dearborn, Michigan, he retired in 1974 and moved to Mesa, Arizona. He was past President of the Pulaski Club of Phoenix for 15 years. He was predeceased by his father Nicholas, mother Valeria, brother John, twin sister Agnes and son-in-law Peter Fuoco. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anne, children Maureen Cotter (Larry), Judy Fuoco, Alan, Valerie Purdy (Norman), and Ronald, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Beloved wife of James Tucker; dear mother of Thomas (Margaret) Menard, Mary Miles and Michael Menard; step-mother of Linda Fitzpatrick and Jill Smith; grandmother of Mac and Zoe Menard; step-grandmother of Shelli Przywara, Shannon Duby and Courtney Pfaff; step-great grandmother of Cody Pfaff. June was a member of Community Presbyterian Church and was formerly their organist. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Women at the local and Presbytery level. She retired as a music teacher from the Waterford School District and was a member of the MEA. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Pastor Thomas Hartley officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
