Bill was very active in the community. He was a member of the Commerce Masonic Lodge #121 and was a 33rd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Detroit. Bill was a member of Multi Lakes Conservation Club. He also served in the Armed Forces during the Korean War. Bardes, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2008; mother of William D. BARRIE W PATRICK BARRIE W BARRIE Made his transition on Thursday, January 29, 2009. He is survived by his lovely wife Mary Beth Griffin-Barrie. He was born in New York, NY in 1943. He was a corporate lobbyist for some of America's largest beverage companies, starting his career in the Marketing & Sales division with Schaefer & Stroh Brewery Companies. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and active with the local VFW & American Legion Posts and also a member of the Elks Club. Pat was a wonderful man who was loved and appreciated by family and friends. He was always there to give a helping hand to those in need. He had a great sence of humor and loved fishing and traveling. Services will be held Tuesday in Redding, CA.

Dona was born April 14, 1934 in Allen Park, MI to Donald and Henrietta (Schultz) Anderson. She married John Becklar on January 22, 1954 in Allen Park, MI, he preceded her in death July 5, 2007. Dona enjoyed playing bridge, reading, and her dog, Max. She is survived by two sons, Allan (Laura) Becklar of Portage, MI and Dave Becklar of Battle Creek, MI, grandchildren Alisa, Kelly and John Becklar; sister Jay (Russ) Frid of Northville, MI. BEIGHEY RAYMOND BEIGHEYAge 83, a longtime resident of St. Clair Shores, died February 18 in Clermont, Florida. Ray was a WWII vet and served as a St. Clair Shores Police Officer for 17 years, a St. Clair Shores Fireman for 18 years, and the founder and former owner of Michigan Marine Gear for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, and cards. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Frederick and Laverne; his sister, Geraldine Morgan; and his beloved wife of 38 years, Dolores. He was survived by his sister Phyllis Linsdeau; and nine children, Frances (Tony), Barbara (Gordon), Raymond (Dee), Cynthia (William), Kimberly, Carol (Larry), Linda (Ted), Michael (Peggy), and Jayne.
