Z" Age 64, of Marshall and formerly of Tawas City, Michigan, died Friday. Mr. Zacharski was born on October 13, 1944 in Detroit Michigan to Edwin and Ann (Hejka) Zacharski Sr. He was a Freelance Photographer. On August 28, 1965, he married the former Penny L. Graham in Detroit. He is survived by his wife, Penny; children, Cindy (Larry) Erickson, Tammy (Dave) Tyson, Jodi Zacharski, all of Grand Rapids, and John (Stephanie) Zacharski of Marshall; 13 grandchildren; sister, Carol Jureck; brother, Tom Zacharski; and a good friend, Rich Young of Punta Gorda, Florida. He was the only child of Walter and Clara (Krolikowski) Zelechowski. He leaves behind his loving wife Idalynne, his son Anthony and daughter Julie (Bruce) McGlone, and three grandchildren, Lindsay and Charlie Zelechowski, and Christopher McGlone. Dear brother-in-law to Darrell (Nancy) Oglesby of White Pine and Carrie (Ray) Cook of Boyne City. Walter was a radio specialist in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Chrysler Warren truck plant. He also worked for McDonald Tube as a quality assurance manager. After his retirement he loved going to the Country Boy restaurant for breakfast, he enjoyed the people there. He loved music, he fulfilled his dream of playing with a band "The Patty Tatro Band" a few times. They may not have been famous, but he was thrilled all the same.
