EGGLY MARIE D EGGLY MARIE EGGLY Age 96, passed away February 26, 2009. Marie is survived by her brother, Edward (Laura) Eggly. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Marie had a great love of old movies and actors including a scrapbook collection of celebrity histories and obituaries. EIDEN CAROL A EIDEN CAROL EIDEN 70; of Prudenville, Michigan; passed away Wednesday, March 4th, 2009, after a year long battle with cancer at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home, Gladwin, MI. In accordance with her wishes Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, MI, with Father Raymond Cotter officiating. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She adored her animals Katie, Patches, Jake and Paulie. ELLIOTT BILLIE IRENE ELLIOTT BILLIE ELLIOTT Age 89, passed away peacefully March 21, 2009 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Harry Elliott, married July 20, 1940. Loving mother of the late Sharon Nims (Douglas), Jill Smith (Charles), Clyde Elliott (Evelyn), and Amy Merciez (David). Survived by siblings Beatrice Hammons (Slim), Beverly York (Jesse), and Jerry Baird (Brenda). Predeceased by brothers Richard Baird (Mildred) and Clyde Baird. Adored grandmother of 11, Wayne Nims (Genessa), Tammie Clark (Steve), Sherrie Doucette, Jill Wigglesworth (Scott), David Nims (Maria), Carl Elliott (April), Julia Stevenson (David), Jennifer Smith, Carmen Richmond (Paul), Elizabeth Merciez (Robert Morris), and Jessica Frey (Christopher). Beloved great-grandmother of 21, Kathleen, Douglas, Chistopher, Angellayna, Bryan, Alicia, Sara, Shane, Chandler, Emily, Glenn, Austin, Olivia, Dominic, Noah, Anna, Lauren, Madison, Emma, Matthew, and Natalie. great-great-grandmother of 3, Destiny, Javon, and Aurora. Billie was born in Flint, Michigan, married in Macomb County, raised her family in Warren, retired near Mancelona, and lived in Chesterfield Township for the past 12 years. Billie was a "Rosie the Riveter" while her husband served in WWII. She enjoyed the Michigan sport teams, quilting, embroidering, canning, and made the best pot roast and apple pie in the world. Billie and her family spent many summers in Northern Michigan enjoying camping and other outdoor activities. Later she and Harry spent winters in Florida. Billie was a long time member of the Eastern Star. Billie will be laid in state Monday, March 23rd 2:30-9:00 p.m. at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore, MI. Funeral services will be held at Good Sheppard Lutheran Church, 31100 23 Mile Road, Chesterfield, MI on Tuesday, March 24th at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. ELLSWORTH LENA H ELLSWORTH LENA ELLSWORTH age 93; of Brighton; passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Arbor Hospice Residence in Ann Arbor following an extended illness. She was born February 27, 1916, in Bellvernon, PA, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Salfi) Nacarato. She was married to the late Jesse L. Ellsworth, who preceded her in death in December of 1970. Mrs. Ellsworth was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Parish of Brighton and formerly of St. Vincents, where she was very active in the Parish and the church Guilds. She is survived by one daughter, Beccie (Ed) Goven of Brighton; one son, Richard L. (Denise) Ellsworth of Royal Oak; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia VanAtter of Rochester. She was preceded in death by six siblings. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Keehn Funeral Home in Brighton. Mass of the Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 26, 2009, 11 a.m. at the St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Brighton. Final Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the Church. Burial to take place on Friday, March 27, 11 a.m. at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.

EMERY WILLIAM LOTT EMERY WILLIAM EMERY Age 65, of 317 Kasey Key Road, Florida, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at his son's residence. Born in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late Herick Smith and Madline Lott Emery. Mr. Emery was the retired founder and president of Foucus Golf System, Inc. He was a member of the Green Valley County Club and the PGA of America since 1970. Surviving are two sons, Andre John Emery and Hardy Lott Emery both of Greenville; a stepson, Daniel Andre Nowak of Arkansas; a granddaughter, Ella Madden Emery of Greenville; two sisters, Margaret Mossholder of Lansing, MI and Kathy Swayheart of California; and a brother, John Emery of Michigan.
