away on April 3, 2009 after a brief illness in the loving presence of
her family. She was born October 31, 1935 in Watertown, NY to Eugene and
Mary Ann LaFave. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard J.
Nabozny. She is survived by her children Michael and Terri, Jeffrey and
Terri, John and Jill and Leonard Nabozny, Marianne and Joseph Waxse and
grandchildren Danielle, Kristen, Bennett, Jay, Caroline, Nicholas,
Justina and Jillian; and numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces,
and friends. Services will be held at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home,

death by daughters Barbara Jean, and Geraldine; grandpa of Philip, Amy,

late Jack. Robert was a U.S. Army Artillery Veteran from 1942-1946
during W.W. II, European Theater, Bronze Star recipient. He retired from
General Motors in 1975 as an industrial engineer. Robert s passion was
his Lord and Savior and his family, and was an excellent golfer. Funeral

NICKEL JAMES NICKEL Age 47. Arrived in Heaven March 27, 2009 and was met
by the loving arms of his mother, Doris Nickel. "Big Jim" grew up in
Troy and was currently residing in Mio. He died unexpectedly, but lives
on through his daughter, Jessica Bowers (B.J. Bowers) and granddaughters
Katelyn and Kayla; son, Thomas Giese; father, James Paul Nickel (Jana
McMillan); sisters, Penny Ann Nickel and Paula Parisot (Jerry Parisot);
brother Roger Nickel (Cristina Nickel); nieces, Stephanie Erdodi,
Heather Erdodi, Miranda Parisot, and Lizzy Parisot; nephews, Adam Erdodi
and Tyler Parisot; his Club Brothers and many friends. A Memorial will
be held on Thursday, April 2 at Roger's Roost in Sterling Heights.

Yacht Club. She was a life long Detroit Tigers fan. Ms. Nicolay was

CHARLES FREDERICK NORDMAN CHARLES NORMAN February 22, 1915- March 28,
2009, age 94, dedicated father and husband, passed away quietly on
Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Venice, Florida. A long time Michigan
resident and school teacher, "Chuck" Nordman was proud of his years at
University of Michigan, graduating with a Bachelors in Music Education.
He served with the Marine 1st Division in World War II on Okinawa. Chuck
was a Band Director and Music instructor in several school districts in
Michigan, including Tawas, Elkton, Wyandotte, Riverview, and Bloomfield
Hills, from which he retired. Along the way, he earned a Masters Degree
from Wayne State University, and brought music into the lives of
thousands of young people. In summer months for several years, Chuck
moved his family to northern Michigan's Interlochen Center for the Arts
(National Music Camp), where he held several staff positions. The past
32 years, Chuck has enjoyed retirement in Englewood, Florida. Survived
by loving wife, Donnafaye Wilma (Groff) Nordman, and beloved children
Diane Dawson (Phil) of Robbinsville, NC, Chris Nordman (Lori) of White
Lake, MI, and Mark Nordman (Maribeth) of Alachua, FL, beloved
grandchildren Phil Dawson, Tracey Keller (Dawson), Steve Dawson, Jason
Nordman, Colin Nordman, Alexa Nordman, and seven great-grandchildren.

PAULINE NORTH age 88; of White Lake; passed away on April 27, 2009. Mrs.
North was a world traveler and enjoyed spending time with her family and
close friends. She also enjoyed walking the Mackinaw Bridge. She was a
homemaker and took care of her family well. After raising her family,
she went to work as a cashier for Food Town in Highland, retiring after
18 years of service. Beloved wife of the late R. Brooks North; and long
time companion of Ervin Paquette; daughter of both the late George and
Nellie Sansam; loving mother of Carol Roberts, Lyle (Rose) North, Roger
(Sue) North and Kay (Ross) Weaver; proud grandmother of 10; great
grandmother of 16; and great great grandmother of 1; as well as with
many nieces and nephews. Mrs. North was preceded in death by her son,
