HELEN J KAMINSKI HELEN KAMINSKI age 84; of Waterford; passed away on
April 12, 2009. Mrs. Kaminski was born in Alabama and moved to Detroit.
During W.W.II, she worked as a crane operator and flipped tanks. Her
career-calling ultimately took her to St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland in
Pontiac, where she retired. She enjoyed knitting and playing cards with
her friends. She will be sadly missed. Loving wife of the late Edward
Kaminski, who preceded her in 1976, and the late David Emeny, who
preceded her in 1999. Beloved mother of Connie (Michael) Markel, Dawn
(Kasper) Malsam and Scott (Paula) Emeny; proud grandmother of Michael,

DONALD ROBERT KARR DONALD KARR DON KARR 78, passed peacefully in Fort
Wayne on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Born Oct. 9, 1930 in Cass City, MI, he
was the son of Claude and Martha Scott Karr. Raised in Cass City, MI, he
graduated from Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine
in 1955. Don practiced 5 years in Glencoe, IL, 1 1/2 years in Waterford,
MI and then the remainder of his 42 year career in Redford MI at the
Beech Road Veterinary Hospital. Don married Gwen Laurie LaClare on Aug.
4, 1941 and together they had 4 children, Katherine Elaine "Kitty",
Laurie Beth, Scott Douglas and Jeffrey McLean. Gwen Laurie passed Aug.
1970 and Don later met and married Kathryn Limberg "Kay" Karr on
December 17, 1983. They shared 24 wonderful years together enjoying life
and traveling the world. They were highly involved in service to their
community through their church. Kay passed away after a long battle with
breast cancer in August 2008. He is survived by his sister, Marjorie
Ballard, his four children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson,
eagerly expected this summer. He was preceded in death by brother, Edwin

courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Detroit in 1929 and

KEENAN MARY MARGARET KEENAN MARY KEENAN born March 31,
1963; died April 24, 2009, after a courageous three year battle with
melanoma. Beloved daughter of Thomas Patrick Keenan of Rochester Hills
and the late Mary Jane (Collins) Keenan; sister of Mary K. (Andrew)
Bolton, Judy A. (Vielka Holness) Keenan, Kathleen T. (Anthony) Marchione,
Thomas R. Keenan and Nora R. Keenan; aunt of Elizabeth, Andrew and
Amanda Bolton and Christine, Daniel and Michael Marchione. Maureen held
a Bachelors Degree from Oakland University and a Master Degree from
Michigan State University. She was a school teacher for over 20 years.
Most of her tenure was at Wilkinson Middle School in Madison Heights
after starting at St. Bede's Roman Catholic School. Maureen was the
recipient of the 2001 Oakland County Outstanding Middle School Teacher
of the Year award. She was nominated numerous other times for
recognition as a teacher at the county and state levels. A gifted
textile artist, Maureen used her talents to support numerous charities
including Knit Michigan, where she was presented with the 2009
Inspiration Award. She received the gift of friendship and support from
her "family" at Heritage Spinning and Weaving of Lake Orion. Funeral

KENNETH M KOCH KENNETH KOCH Age 92, long time resident of Dearborn,
Michigan passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009 in Bermuda Run, North
Carolina where he lived with his youngest son Steven and daughter-in-law
Kathy. He was preceded in death by his most cherished wife, true love of
his life and best friend Laura M. Koch. Ken was born February 19, 1917
to the late Herman J. and Anna B. Koch. He grew up in Detroit with his
two brothers Donald and Richard. He attended The University of Detroit
and graduated with an Engineering Degree which served him well in his
long and illustrious business career with Rockwell International. Ken
was a veteran of World War II serving in the India/China/Burma Theater
where he eventually earned the rank of Captain. Ken and Laura were life
time soul mates meeting at the tender age of 10 at Wampler's Lake,
Michigan were Ken's parents vacationed and Laura's family owned a
cottage. He and Laura so much loved "the Lake" that they eventually
bought a cottage of their own (next door to the Lancaster family
cottage) which is still in the family today. Ken was a hero, loving
husband, father and grandfather and will be missed very much. Surviving
to cherish his memory are son Kenneth M. Koch II of San Rafael,
California, son Steven L. Koch and daughter-in-law Kathy H. Koch of
Bermuda Run, North Carolina, and grandchildren Jessica, Stephanie and
Chad. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,
April 11, 2009 at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 North Military, Dearborn,
Michigan with a short grave side service with Military honors at Acacia
Park Cemetery in Beverly Hills, Michigan afterward. We invite all Ken's
friends and family to join in his passing from this earthly world to his
new spiritual home with the Lord, Laura and family that have gone on

KRITZMAN ANDREW MARK KRITZMAN ANDREW KRITZMAN of
Topsham, Maine died suddenly at the age of 50 on April 21, 2009. He was
the son of Francis "Mark" and Mary Kritzman of Redford. He graduated
from Redford Union High School in 1976. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1977.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Darlene Rose Kritzman, and their
children: Emily, Franklin and Gregory. He is also survived by his first
wife: Linda Rusinowski Miller, and their two children: Brandon (Rebecca)
with their children Jacquelyn, Anastasia and Isabella, and Courtney
(Ryan) Van de Burg with their children Caden, Brooke and Grace. He
leaves six siblings: Richard, Diane, Anita, Gregg, Geri and Mary Lee.
