FAULKNER
DOUGLAS L FAULKNER DOUGLAS FAULKNER Age 67, passed away April 10, 2009.
He was born on July 21, 1941, to the late Louis and Edna (Garwood)
Faulkner. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1959. On October
25, 1969, he married his wife Barbara (Andrews). He was formerly of
Farmington, prior to moving to South Lyon in 1976. He was a former South
Lyon Electrical Inspector. He was member of the National Service
Managers Association, and the Ham Radio Association South Lyon Chapter.
Douglas is survived by his wife Barbara Faulkner, brother Nicholas
(Lucy) Faulkner, sister-in-law Gail (Alan) McDonald, two nephews David
and Mark McDonald. He was preceded in death by his brother Norman.

ALPHONSE J FIDLER ALPHONSE FIDLER Born July 5, 1918, death September 28,
2008. He served in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal
and the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service Medal. Survived by his wife,
Dorothy and children; Alice (Bob) Kluth, Sandra (Don) Ehrman, Evvie
(Paul) Dailey and Allen (Linda) Fidler; 11 grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on April 17, 2009
at La Purisima Catholic Church in Orange, CA.

STANLEY BERTRAM FRIEDMAN STANLEY FRIEDMAN was born in Cleveland, Ohio
July 23, 1908. Beloved husband of the late Miriam Levin Friedman to whom
he was married for 66 years. Devoted father of Joan (Lou)Slyker, Peggy
(Peter Remington) Daitch, Margery (Bill) Lynch and Rodger( Kiki Nelson)
Friedman. Loving grandfather of Josh (Lisa) Daitch, Karen Daitch, Andrew
Slyker and James Friedman Lynch. Cherished brother of Ruth Insel (the
late Dr. Herbert Insel), Betty Lublin(the late Irving Lublin), the late
Miriam Schmidt (the late Dr. John Schmidt), the late Rabbi Newton
Friedman (Rosalie Friedman Shaw), the late Dr. Milton Friedman (the late
Eleanor Friedman). Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a
veteran of WWII, during which he monitored the financial activity of the
Axis powers in North Africa and investigated the workings of I.G. Farben
for the Treasury Department . Stan served as Corporate Secretary of
Borman Foods (Farmer Jack) until his retirement in 1973 when he became
involved in real estate and in SCORE. He was remarkably active
throughout his later years, and was a devoted grandfather, father and
husband. Stanley celebrated his 100th birthday last July at a large
